The MRC Centre for Drug Safety Science, at the University of Liverpool, has organised a half-day morning meeting (click here to read the agenda) on Thursday 1st November 2018 in Liverpool, to present and discuss the FUTURE Initiative study.
This is a programme to develop a panel of healthy volunteers and patients (renal impairment and hepatic insufficiency) who have been genotyped for polymorphisms in drug metabolising enzyme and transporter genes, who can be readily recruited for clinical trials at the MHRA – accredited Royal Liverpool Clinical Research Unit. A discussion on the use of genotype-guided clinical studies by industry will be led by Dr Alex Phipps (Roche).
We are keen to understand from potential collaborators what the interest and demand is for this particular capability and how we can best work with them. We are looking to attract delegates from CRO’s, pharma and SME’s to the meeting. There is no charge to attend the event.
